Portrait in watercolor

It is supposed to be Mark Tabor, but now that I see it, a day after I did it, I don't think it looks quite like him. On this one, I tried to keep working on it and not stop too soon. I think I am better at quick likenesses.

She didn't look this sad. Back to Monday night portrait drawing. This is a 20" by 25and 1/2" pastel on Canson. I haven't done this larger size for awhile and it started off bad but I was able to pull it together.

Linsey

9" by 12 " watercolors from Monday night portrait class. The light one is the first I did. Someone told me to stop.
I made her look too old. She was probably in her 20s. I pushed the 2nd one.

Portraits

I entered the First three, today, in a juried portrait show at Wickford Art Association. They all got in and "Scott" got an honorable mention. I felt like it was unfinished but when I am drawing with other people they tell me I should stop. I took their advice on this one. I did 3 pictures in 3 hours. This was the 2nd one.

I didn't know about the show until just a few days ago. Maybe I could have done better if I had more time, but maybe not. I had to enter someting because portraits are what I do. I do them from live models at Jerry Puleo's place. Kate Huntington runs the group and hires the models.
